The channel for films and series

2BE can look back on a successful 2011 (10.4% of main shoppers in the 18 to 44 age group). Interestingly, the channel’s market share rose every month in 2011 compared to 2010. The channel’s local programmes such as Wat Als? proved worthy successors to Benidorm Bastards and the battle for survival in Expeditie Robinson clearly reached its target audience. Both programmes were also successfully repeated on vtm.

Series and films are still the backbone of 2BE. Hit shows were American top series Bones and House, M.D., but new series Spartacus, Strike Back and Terra Nova were also well received. UEFA Champions League also did very well thanks to the Belgian team that was participating.
