Unique visitors per day

The biggest news site in Belgium is a tandem. Every day HLN.be and 7sur7.be attract 600,000 news-hungry visitors, each of whom read an average of 10 articles. The number of average page views per day has grown substantially: from 5,2 million in 2010 to 5,8 million in 2011. The visitors read more than two billion articles per year. Mind-boggling statistics. (CIM Metriweb 2011)
HLN.be and 7sur7.be are divided into 4 main editorial sections: Belgian news, international news, sports news and showbiz news. Around the clock, independent web editors write news articles from three hubs: Brussels, Sydney and LA. That makes HLN.be/7sur7.be the only 24/7 operational news outfit in Europe.
Both sites place great emphasis on journalistic quality and take their social responsibility seriously. Planet Watch, a growing news channel, appeals to people who are concerned about the environment. Meantime, YOU!, the news channel for and by women, adds further spice to life, and has quickly grown into the absolute market leader in Belgium.
Our mobile apps, the first of which was launched in November 2010, are currently available for iOS (iPhone), Android and RIM (Blackberry) and have since been downloaded over 200,000 times. (Soon to be available for Windows Phone too.) Together with our mobile site, they experienced tremendous growth in 2011 and now reach 147,000 unique visitors a week, accounting for over 9.5 million page views. (Google Analytics 2011)
