In October 2011 vtmKzoom celebrated its second anniversary, and the kids’ channel presented excellent results last year. On average vtmKzoom had a market share of 10.5% with 4-to-14-year-olds. It also performed well on co-viewing, which is parents watching television together with their children, so that vtmKzoom became commercial market leader with a daily 8.4% share. In the autumn, which is the most important period of the year for children’s channels, over 30 new programmes were launched focusing on humour, music, local fiction and animation. For the second year in a row, on-screen presenters Arne and Joyce welcomed tens of thousands of families all over the country for a day filled with music and fun on the vtmKzoom Summer Tour.
