Peter Quaghebeur will be leaving Vlaamse Media Maatschappij at the beginning of september. He joined VMMa as Commercial Director in 1999 and was appointed Director-General 4 years later. Previously Peter had spent 8 years with Het Laatste Nieuws as Commercial Director.

Under his leadership, VMMa developed from a 2-channel television company into a fully-fledged audiovisual group with 5 television channels, two radio stations and many related media activities 8 years later.

Peter Quaghebeur will remain available to the Board of Directors as we await the appointment of his successor. We will start searching very shortly in this respect and are hoping to appoint a new Director-General by the end of this year.
