De Persgroep has decided to transfer its digital activities to a new business unit, De Persgroep Digital, from 1 January 2012.
De Persgroep Digital will bring together the Belgian and Dutch digital initiatives. In addition to all news sites (hln.be, nina.be and demorgen.be and in the Netherlands ad.nl, vk.nl, trouw.nl and parool.nl), it will also include e-commerce (vkshop.nl and ninashop.be) and classified ads sites (e.g. regiojobs.be and autozone.be). The business unit will be headed by Patrick van Waeyenberge, currently the general manager of De Persgroep Advertising.
