Today, the Board of Directors of the Vlaamse Media Maatschappij (Flemish Media Company) appointed Peter Bossaert as CEO of the company. The Board has also opted for a new approach whereby all audiovisual activities will, from now on, be conducted with an overall vision, strategy and structure.

This simplified organisational structure means that Peter Bossaert will manage both the television and radio teams, and that the positions of General Manager Television and General Manager Radio will no longer exist.

Erwin Deckers has been appointed Director of Strategy. In this new position, Erwin Deckers will, in consultation with the programme and marketing management, be responsible for the strategy and implementation of all television and radio brands of the Vlaamse Media Maatschappij.

The new organisation will take immediate effect. The Board of Directors wishes Erwin and Peter every success in their new positions.
